Good Candles, Reading Books

£35.00

You’re on a city break, Paris / Barcelona / Madrid / Berlin. It’s about 26 degrees, you know when it’s warm but not too hot to have coffee and sit down. You’re on your own, you’re in a cafe and sat on the terrace / square watching the world go by. Lots of concrete around. 20 Marlborough Red (europeans don’t smoke lights), a double espresso so strong your heart is racing, one of those little biscuits that smells incredible. They bring a glass of sparkling water over and it has a slight taste of hard water reduced only by the slice of lemon in the glass.

Your phone is dead. Perfect. On the wall there are shelves floor to ceiling full of books. You pick one up and it smells like old libraries. You thumb through it, half interested, half watching the world. It’s a perfect end to the day and it’s only 11am.

Cigarettes, old books, concrete, a croissant, a newspaper and the smell of summer in the distance.

Mahal Kita Flowers is a creative floral studio based between the city and the seaside, harboured in Margate’s Old Town. Our design philosophy is creating luxury items of transient beauty and high impact for all of life’s highlights, milestones and celebrations.

We work hard to make sure we can offer everyone beautiful flowers all throughout the year. Our style is always a little bit maverick, english-tropical and OTT, using inventive methods and the best seasonal flowers we can get our hands on.

We deliver Thursday and Friday locally, but will happily take requests for additional delivery slots during the week, but this is not guaranteed. For national deliveries we will only do Friday deliveries.

Customers are also welcome to come pick up any arrangements at our workshop in Margate. We aim to deliver between 12:00 and 16:00, and we unfortunately do not dedicate delivery slots. If the recipient is not home, we will try calling, and leave in a safe place or neighbour, we do not offer re deliveries since flowers are perishable goods.
